A programme of workshops over two days and an exhibition in a grove in the Versailles gardens as part of a Pacte.
Accompanied by a gardener, we went to meet the remarkable trees in part of the garden. Using bio-acoustic tools, we listened to their bark and the soil. Then, in order to recreate the encounter between the micro-organisms on our hands and those in the bark, we took samples to develop in Petri dishes.
Using fruit and vegetables brought in by the pupils, we made moulds in coloured cement to discover the textures of these everyday plants. These were installed in a grove in the Versailles gardens.
