Suspended sculpture
Jute canvas, botanical papers, rivets, fig tree branch

Made from papers harvested in winter from plants and soil from the 2km4 survey line, the cape draws the “skin” of the 2km4 territory. The cellulose comes from recycled egg cartons.
The scale pattern is inspired by the structure of euglypha, a soil micro-organism with a silica exoskeleton.
