Canada fleabane is a common wild plant, yet it is not of French origin, as its name suggests. It can be considered an invasive plant.
The artist, citing an anthology of texts with ambiguous vocabulary about "plant pests that must be eradicated", proposes a DIY deportation.

In the film, we see a vergerette uprooted and then put on a makeshift raft in the colours of France, so that it can potentially float up the Loire to the Atlantic and back to its country of origin, Canada.
