For this second time of sharing linked to the autumn equinox, Anaïs Tondeur and Karine Bonneval are presenting two installations linked to encounters with different plants on the 2km4 transect. They are also proposing two practices to be shared in connection with their respective research.
Karine Bonneval's installation, pétales sonnants, is a set of ceramic chimes, each in the shape of the petals of the flowers she visited. The flowers are picked very sparingly at the 5 selected stations along the transect, so as to minimise the number of samples taken in situ, but to allow the inhabitants of these soils to be seen and heard at all times of year. A chromatographic portrait is used to tint the plants in keeping with the soils in which they grow.

Deep listening was invented in the 1960s by the American composer Pauline Oliveiros. She disseminated her methods in books that today enable the artist to propose a practice of preparing our ears for deep listening. This preparation enables us to listen to a series of sounds from different living beings recorded by bioacoustician Fanny Rybak or herself.

This meeting is also an opportunity to show the first plants of the night garden, a work in progress developed in collaboration with Amandine Dubois.
